Community Athletics recommends that all prospective coaches and managers attend a Rutgers Sports Safety Clinic. The clinics are aimed at helping coaches minimize injuries and possible legal liabilities. The clinics are not specific to a particular sport. The date of the next clinic is Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 1:00PM at the Clinton Fencing Club. There no cost to Community Athletics coaches. Otherwise the cost is $35. Directions to the Clinton Fencing Club:

From the East: Take Route 78 West to Exit 20A. Make right at end of ramp onto Cokesbury Road. Stay on Cokesbury Road for a short distance and turn right into The Cokesbury Road Industrial Park (almost opposite the Marriot Courtyard driveway). We are the middle unit on the right side of the large building (suite 5).

From the West: Route 78 East to Exit 18, Route 22 East. Go four traffic lights to the Cokesbury Road intersection. Take the jughandle right at the traffic light and then go left on Cokesbury Road across Rt. 22. Proceed about 100 yards and make a left into the Cokesbury Road Industrial Park (across street from Marriott). Bear right at the fork in the driveway. We are the middle unit on the right side of the large building (suite 5).    Telephone 236-6226
