SOCCER 2008

The soccer program provides instruction from professional trainers and follows the rules for junior soccer as promulgated by FIFA. Divisions are established by age and participants train and play on modified sized fields. All practices and games are held on Saturdays. Play begins on September 13, 2008 and ends on Saturday, November 22.
Our soccer program does not require previous participation and is designed for players of all skill levels. Volunteer coaches to work with our professional trainers are needed for all age divisions. We also need volunteers to assist us in laying and lining fields and to perform routine maintenance.
Registration forms will be available "on line" starting May 17. Completed forms with payment must be received by 30 June to ensure a player's placement.

COMMUNITY ATHLETICS of North Hunterdon Fall Soccer Program is now registering all interested boys and girls enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Our Program begins with small-sided games for Kindergarten and 1st Grades.  Grade 2 thru Grade 5 use a graduated number of  players consistent with the US Youth Soccer guidelines.  Our program is co-ed from Kindergarten through Grade 2 and then separated into Boy’s and Girl’s Divisions.

All practices and games take place on Saturdays and are held at Clinton Township facilities.  Game schedules and locations are subject to use-of-facility approvals and other scheduling factors beyond Community Athletics’ control. Game schedules are not currently available and will not be available until facility use is approved by Clinton Twp.

Community Athletics works in partnership with United Soccer Academy which will provide to Community Athletics coaches, players and teams professional instruction from their trained staff.  Every player will receive weekly instruction and practice under the supervision of a United Soccer Academy professional staff as well as their team coaches.  Our volunteer coaches will be provided with instructional manuals, practice drills and visual aids to assist them with their preparation.  United Soccer Academy, Inc. will be conducting a two-hour Educational Clinic for all volunteer coaches and assistants.  This mandatory clinic will be held at Foran Field on September 6, 2008 and will lay the groundwork for our entire season.
